Participatory Initiative for Rural Welfare and Advocacy (PIRWA) is pleased to announce its strategic partnership with ADIEU Foundation Uganda, marking a significant milestone in our shared commitment to improving the lives of vulnerable communities across Uganda. Since its establishment in 2014, PIRWA has worked tirelessly to empower communities in Northern Uganda through education, livelihoods, health promotion, women’s empowerment, child protection, and advocacy initiatives. Similarly, ADIEU Foundation Uganda has contributed to community transformation through programs that promote sustainable development, education, youth empowerment, and social inclusion.
This partnership brings together the strengths, expertise, resources, and networks of both organizations under a unified vision of empowering communities to achieve sustainable social and economic development. By combining our experience and capabilities, we will be better positioned to expand our reach, improve service delivery, strengthen institutional capacity, and create greater impact for the communities we serve. The organizations will continue to uphold the values of participation, accountability, inclusion, innovation, and community ownership while building on the achievements of both institutions.

Being a teenager is hard because sometimes we are disrespectful to our teachers and parents even when they are telling us the right things. I am happy I participated in the school outreach program organized by PIRWA because they taught us how to be respectful young adults.
I do not get enough support from my parents because they focus more on paying school fees and forget that I need other basic requirements like sanitary pads, lotion, etc so I get tempted by men who want to give me those things in exchange for sex but I refuse.
I love football because it gives me the chance to connect with my peers and discuss ssome of the isssues affecting us. I was happy to participate in the football match organized by PIRWA because they taught us about the dangers of teenage pregnancy.
