School Outreach at Agwiciri Primary School, Kwania District

Using sports as a mobilization tool, PIRWA brought together over 50 adolescent and young girls from the communitities surrounding Agwiciri Primary Schoool for a football match between the young girls and boys. The main purpose of this activity was to sensitize them on the dangers of teenage pregnancy and how they can avoid it. This activity was highly successful and we believe we can achieve more if we continue.

School Outreach in Aduku Secondary School, Kwania District

PIRWA has continously held Teenage Talks at various schools around Lango ssub-region particulary in the districts of Kwania and Apac District with a purpose of reaching out to the young teenagers. We believe these talks give the youth the platform to speak about the challenges they face as young adults and how we can collectively solve them like teenage pregnancy among other challenges.

School Outreach at Apac Secondary School, Apac District

One of the unique things about our school outreach programs is that we focus more on solving the problems faced by young boys and girls without being judgemental about their disobedient lifestyles which often puts them at loggerheads with the school authoritiess because we know that we can make them better adults by empowering them with life skills and changing their mindsets.
